About Us

Wormholedeath is a record label, publishing and film production company born 4 years ago. After having signed the first two artists (ONSETCOLD from Uk and LIFEND from Italy) the label management suddenly inked a deal with AURAL MUSIC GROUP for marketing, distribution and promotion.

Wormholedeath became a part of the AURAL MUSIC GROUP together with important labels like Code666 or Dreamcell11 under the umbrella of SPV. In fact the first 4 releases were distributed and marketed by SPV in Germany. After a very hard work on the promotion of the releases WARNER / CHAPPELL MUSIC offered to the label’s artists a worldwide publishing deal. After the releases of RUMORS OF GEHENNA, TO SKYLARK, LIFEND and ONSETCOLD WHD signed 2 new acts: THE WAY OF PURITY (that toured the whole europe with Negura Bunget, Gorgoroth and Belphegor and licensed the debut album in Japan) and MECHANICAL GOD CREATION (already quite known in Italy). These new releases are out now with SOULFOOD (a division of SONY MUSIC) and distributed in USA by THE END RECORDS…Furthermore Wormholedeath is cooperating with FLORIAN FINK (Ex Nuclear Blast‘s head of promotion in Germany) and The Noise Cartel (in Uk)  for the marketing and media planning and produced the new film from fetish queen SUSI MEDUSA GOTTARDI called “A passage through the purity of pain”.

At the beginning of 2011 WHD released the new album from hardcore legends RAW POWER, new DyNAbyte‘s album (Featuring Cadaveria), Ravenscry‘s Debut and post hardcore maniacs THECONFITTO.

Finally, Wormholedeath signed a distribution deal with ROADRUNNER RECORDS BELGIUM in Benelux and worldwide digital distribution deal with THE ORCHARD.

Recently the label signed a few well estabilished bands: Haterial (Finland), Crysalys (Italy), Xenosis (Uk) Story Of Jade (Italy), Claymords (Norway), Angerman (Norway) and young but promising bands like Book Of Job (Uk), Azylya (Bel), Ivalys (Fra), Underwell (Ita), Right To The Void (Fra)  as well. Moreover Wormholedeath licensed some great albums from scandinavian bands like Bleeding Utopia from Sweden and Inside I from Norway as long as the new album from greek thrashers Raw In Sect and published Cadaveria‘s new masterpiece “Horror Metal” together with Scarlet Records.

Upcoming releases from label veterans  The Way Of Purity “Equate” (out now in the US/Canada via Revolution Harmony/Basick/Prosthetic Records), Mechanical God Creation “Artifact of annihilation”, japanese legends Youthquake (featuring X-JAPAN members) , young italian bands like Lightless Moor or Raging Age, norwegian cult band NO DAWN are the proof of the great results of long term cooperations that are the main goal in WHD’s policy.

Important deals have been inked in Japan with labels such as Shinko Music Group, Rubicon Music, Media Factory during these years. These deals led WHD to open its office in Japan operated by label manager Masahiko Kishimoto.
